How can I upgrade my Bose lifestyle 28?

I have a Bose Lifestyle 28 but I would like to upgrade to a console with HDMI, can I use my subwoofer and speakers and just buy the console by itself or do I have to buy a complete system? I would like to stick with Bose if I can use some of the stuff from my current system, but if I have to but a complete new one I am open to suggestions.
