Is it necessary for kids to have their own room?

Kids needing their own room depends on how annoying you find them. Mine both have their own room but every morning we wake up and hey presto! They’ve been in bed with us all night again. We have a super king size bed because 4 people in a double bed means no one gets any sleep.
