What kind of speakers are on a Denon arc?
Speakers are assigned and calibrated. Front speakers are connected to stereo power amplifier for a total of 11 channels and 2 subwoofers . HDMI is connected to ARC HDMI 2 on my LG OLED TV through to my Denon ARC. Simplink is on and set to ARC. However, I can’t get any sound through HDMI.

Can a Denon pre-out be used as an integrated amp?
Yes, you could use the zone 2 pre-out into an integrated amp and use the Denon AVR as a source (eg for digital music). You would have to try it and see how it sounds, as the pre-amp of the Denon would still have an effect. Generally you would connect your music sources directly to the integrated amp to get the best possible sound quality.
