Is your WD TV Live hub HD Media Center able to access content?

IS your WD TV Live Hub HD Media Center able to access content stored in your system? Or other computers able to interact with your unit? Well, on my old computer with windows 7 the WDTV Live Hub appeared as a mapped network drive automatically when i connected it with the ethernet cable.

Can you connect WD TV to your router?

As stated in my first post, connecting the WD TV to my router is not an option as it’s too far away for stretching a cable, and my USB wireless adapter is not compatible with the Hub. Hence I’m trying to connect my WD TV and my computer with a cable just between them. You need to set a STATIC IP address on the WDTV Live Hub.

Why is my wdtvlivehub not working on my computer?

I can see it under my Network but if i try to access it as a Computer it shows me attached message. Previously the WDTVLiveHub showed up as a network drive.I tried to map it manually but failed somehow.
