What do you put between flagstone rocks?

Sand is traditionally used between the cracks of pavers. The small granules fill in the gaps between the stones without leaving spaces. Brush the sand into the flagstone gaps with a push broom. You’ll need to wet the sand so it settles and add more sand until the cracks fill up completely.

Can you put a sealer on flagstone?

Sealing Flagstone A sealer fills the pores in the stone and repels spills. Plan to use a penetrating acrylic sealer with a matte finish so that water and oils bead up when they land there. This sealer should be reapplied annually to protect the stone and retain its color over time.
