I’ve just sent my Panasonic Viera (TH-46PZ800A – Purchased August 2008) in for repair. We woke one morning recently to find that we couldn’t turn the television on.

Can’t turn the TV on, have 7 blinking red LED lights in repeated cycles. Was very happy with my TV to the point where I purchased another second 42″ TV in November 2009 and now I am worried if this problem still exists. Mentioned this to Panasonic to see what I should do while this TV is still under warranty?

I’ve been looking at reviews for new TV’s for another room, and thought I’d type in this model to see if any comments. Pleasantly surprised to see other happy customers too :).

How much does it cost to repair a Panasonic Viera?
It developed a red and cyan haze after 15mths and went in for repair. it was the large pcb board located on the left hand side (from rear) and cost $330. Suppose we are still ahead as the warranty was well over $500 then.
