What kind of HDMI does a Harman Kardon use?

Recently in bought Harman Kardon AVR151s to use with my Sony 42W670A. My TV has two HDMI ports namely HDMI 1 (ARC) and HDMI 2 (MHL). I previously had SOny home theater and connected it with TV using ARC.

How does arc work on Harman Kardon AVR 151s?

This will actually enable the ARC functionality of the AVR and the audio setting of the TV source will automatically change from Opt 1 to ARC. Then, when you select TV source at the AVR the TV set’s audio will flow from the HDMI ARC of the TV set to the HDMI ARC of the AVR. Finally!

Try to shutdown everything, then unplug and replug after 10 seconds HK’s power cord. Power on everything and check TV has now detected the HK: mind this could not be automatic, so browse TV’s audio settings and try to select the HK as output device.
