Are there any Sansui belt drive turntables in the UK?

The Sansui SR-838 is very rare in the UK as most British audiophiles buying a turntable in it’s price category tended to favour belt drive turntables (from manufacturers such as, Linn, Thorens, Ariston, etc.) due to brainwashing by the UK hi-fi magazines (you know who you are – shame on you!).

Can a needle still be used on a turntable?

Why is there no needle on my Onkyo turntable?

When you visually compare the needle picture that our site matches to your model but have no visual match to your old needle, then someone likely changed the cartridge on you. If you suspect this, email us CLEAR pictures of your needle and/or cartridge.
