Where is the speaker selector on a Sony?

IMPORTANT: If applicable to your model, verify that the A/B speaker selector is set to the appropriate position. If the speakers are connected to the A speaker connection on the rear of the A/V receiver, then the A/B speaker selector must be set to the A position.

Where does the sound come from on a Sony TV?

During periods of mainly dialog, most of the sound may come from the center speaker only, with audio coming out of the rear speakers when there is background or ambient noise. Reset the unit back to factory default settings. NOTE: Consult the operating instructions for model-specific steps to reset your unit back to factory settings.

What to do if rear speakers are not working?

Increase the rear speaker volume or surround speaker settings to maximum. Try selecting a different size (small or large) for the rear surround speakers in the menu. Verify that the A/V receiver is set to a surround sound mode. For Dolby ProLogic surround sound, the center-channel mode must be set to NORMAL or WIDE.

What do you need to know about rear surround speakers?

How does the Sony s-air speaker system work?

Just plug in the S-AIR speaker system and you are ready to stream audio to another room from your compatible Sony home theater system. The S-AIR speaker system features a one line LCD Display, a clock function, and is equipped with controls for volume and the audio source you are listening to.

Is the Sony airsa10 s-air speaker system adequate?

There’s no problem with getting a signal. The sound is adequate in a quiet area such as an office/study, bedroom, or in my case, the kitchen. It is not particularly loud and there’s very little bass due to the small speakers so it is no ‘boom box’.

Is the s-air speaker system compatible with Bluetooth?

As for as I know, with bluetooth your limited to one at device at a time. Also, keep in mind that S-Air requires 2.4 Ghz bandwidth. The units perform nicely together all in sync, amd there is no compression. I have not had mine interfere with Hue lights, Kevo, etc. and have been very pleased.

What’s the difference between Sony’s air and airplay?

There’s a lot of misinformation in the reviews and it sounds like they are talking about more than one product. First, the Sony S-Air technology was a precursor to Sony’s AirPlay. I prefer this over Bluetooth because your devices are synced, whereas if you have Bluetooth, you can’t sync.
