Why does my TV keep blinking on and off?

A blinking or flickering television can occur randomly. This dimming TV screen effect can seem like a strobe light and show flashes of black. A flickering TV that blinks can sometimes be fixed by simply turning the TV off and back on. A component attached to the TV could be at fault. Cables may not be secure or a cable may be faulty.

How to fix no sound and digital blinking on my pioneer?

Disconnect then reconnect the HDMI cable between the Cable Box and the Pioneer receiver, making sure it is secure on both ends. Then plug the Cable Box back into power and once rebooted turn everything back on and select the CBL Input on the Pioneer. The sound should be restored and the Digital light no longer blinking.
